This last week I’ve had problems with my heat (fixed now, but during the coldest stretch of November we’ve had in a while)! This led to a pretty narrow range of focus between “I’m so cold!” and “How do I warm up?” This led to this month’s story! Grab a warm drink for this one.

Secondhand Secrets
A friend of mine told me about a dream that had at an estate sale where one of the items was a stack of Secondhand Secrets. The alliteration lended itself to a title so well that I couldn’t resist. Enjoy!
The Hour of Salem
Decided to do a somewhat spooky/creepy Halloween vibe for this month’s story. Tis the season! Enjoy The Hour of Salem!

“Wishes Take Work”
What if there were a school for those who grant wishes? Shooting Stars 101? Djinn Studies? The Wishes on Eyelashes?
The Worry Witch
Please enjoy The Worry Witch! This was more of an exploration of anxiety and the reactions we have when presented in fearful situations. We all have anxiety, but how we react to it says more about us than the fear itself.
Shorni’s Hoard
That’s enough of The Wizard’s Art Thieves (for now). This time, enjoy the story of a dragon and her hoard!
The Wizard’s Art Thieves: Part Three
Here’s the conclusion of The Wizard’s Art Thieves! The heist is completed, but will it be worth it?
The Wizard’s Art Thieves: Part Two
Enjoy the second part of “The Wizard’s Art Thieves”. I hope you like reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it!
The Wizard’s Art Thieves: Part One
It’s been a while since I’ve dusted off the Ol’ Writing Brain, but it feels really good to create! This was supposed to be a quick and easy piece, but when have I ever done that? Please enjoy the first installment of “The Wizard’s Art Thieves.”
And tune in for more bits of this story as it evolves!
The Doctor Will See You Now
It’s been a busy month here and I’ve been focused on work at the veterinary hospital. And, as the old saying goes, write what you know!
